4 bedroom Villa

Gross internal area: 433m² (4,661ft²)

The courtyard

On entering the villas there are direct views either onto the interior courtyard or to the spectacular double-height drawing room. The internal courtyard is a central focus to the villa. A mix of local stones and porcelain tiles will create a patterned centre piece where a simple, contemporary water feature sits. The soothing sound of trickling water is an important element of the Moroccan lifestyle. Exotic planting will line the courtyard, leading the eye to the landscaped gardens beyond.

The living rooms

The double-height drawing room has a dramatic wall of glazed panels opening up to the terrace and landscaped gardens beyond.

The ground floor rooms feature a series of display units, built into the walls in a Moroccan style with local plaster finishes. These units are contemporary in feel and contain a collection of local accessories, creating a sophisticated residential feel. These rooms also have a large, simply-detailed stone fireplace with a glass back, allowing views through to the courtyard. The room is decorated in light, fresh finishes, using a combination of the local polished plaster and stone. The ceiling has a simple plaster coffer with painted beams inset.

The dining room has an outdoor dining area with an outdoor fireplace and barbecue. Low, comfortable dining furniture contributes to the relaxed, Moroccan outdoor lifestyle. The dining room itself is decorated in lighter plaster tones mixed with painted, paneled walls. A simple stone fireplace acts as a central feature.

Furnishings and technology

Each villa is equipped with Cat 5 wiring, a broadband network, television and telephone points and is fitted with additional hi-fi wiring.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The master bedroom has large windows onto a private terrace. The room is decorated in a light plaster finish and features some recessed niches to display local accessories. The bedroom leads on to dual walk-in wardrobes, comprising painted timber panels mixed with a rich textured plaster finish. The wardrobes are specially designed to have full-height hanging, shirt drawers, shoe racks, hat shelves and full-length mirrors. The dressing areas link through to a large, luxurious bathroom.

All the bathroom components are generous in scale and incorporate a number of the local stones. The stone vanity has good storage for towels and bathroom accessories below. The oversized shower comprises stone slabs with added details of built-in benches and decorative niches.

The remaining bedrooms are on the upper levels, where a roof terrace offers spectacular views onto the landscaped gardens.
